Ahsoka Episode 5 surprised fans with a reference to a beloved Star Wars character. So, will Leia appear in Ahsoka?

When Is Leia Mentioned in Ahsoka?
First, we need to explain the Leia Easter Egg in Ahsoka Episode 5 as it's rather easy to miss.
Early in the episode, Ahsoka is still stranded in the World Between Worlds. Hera Syndulla and members of her fleet are looking for signs of her and Sabine Wren.
Captain Carson Teva (who also appears in The Mandalorian) reminds Hera that they don't have much time.
This is, after all, an unauthorized mission and the only reason why the Republic hasn't pursued them yet is because they're backed up by an important figure: Senator Organa, as Leia is now known.
This is a significant moment, not only because of the inevitable nostalgia but also as yet another Rebels reference in Ahsoka.
After all, Leia Organa appeared in a Rebels filler to help the Ghost crew still some much-needed ships.

Will Leia Organa Have A Cameo in Ahsoka?
While not entirely impossible, no Leia cameo has been confirmed in Ahsoka so far.
Whether we will get one depends entirely on where the story is going and how far the creators are willing to go with CGI.
Star Wars has, on several occasions, used CGI to bring back key characters, even in cases where their actors are no longer alive, or are much older.
In Rogue One, iconic villain Grand Moff Tarkin appeared through the use of CGI despite the fact that actor Peter Cushing had died in 1994.
The same movie also CGI-ed a pre-New Hope Princess Leia, and, conversely, it came out a few days before Carrie Fisher's death.
In The Mandalorian, a young Luke Skywalker appeared with a lot of help from CGI and de-aging technology although actor Mark Hamill was involved in the process.
Given the choices made in The Last Jedi, we think that the Star Wars team wouldn't CGI Leia too much out of respect for Carrie Fisher's iconic performance which cannot be repeated.
She may, however, appear in some way, such as as a hologram.
Do Leia and Ahsoka Know Each Other?
There has never been a scene with Leia and Ahsoka together but we can assume they did meet at some point.
In this case, the only confirmed pre-existing relationship is that of Leia and Hera.
But The Book of Boba Fett reveals that Ahsoka and Luke Skywalker knew each other, so it's safe to assume that she also met Leia at some point.
Hopefully, Ahsoka's next episodes will reveal if an actual cameo might come out of this acquaintance.
