Well, anime-only fans will soon have their answer as the show has a new trailer that features Meliodas. There, he’s shown to meet the new protagonist, Percival.

Meliodas Is Finally Appearing in the Four Knights of the Apocalypse Anime
Meliodas is the main character of The Seven Deadly Sins, and while he’s a favorite of many, he did not return as the protagonist of the sequel series.
That’s not to say his story has ended. As revealed in the Four Knights of the Apocalypse story, Meliodas is still going to play a role. In the anime though, Meliodas has been mentioned but has not appeared yet.
This will soon change as the anime has a new trailer following the broadcast of its 16th episode. The trailer’s main highlight is no doubt Meliodas, who is finally shown alongside the other knights of the apocalypse.
What’s exciting about the trailer is that Meliodas is shown face-to-face with Percival, meaning the two protagonists will finally meet soon.
Interestingly, Meliodas has not aged a day it seems based on his appearance. He’s just as short as Percival, which might be unexpected to some, especially as the Demon King has been driven out of his body already.

Where Is Meliodas Now in Four Knights of the Apocalypse?
As revealed in the manga’s Chaos in Liones arc, Meliodas and Percival meet when Meliodas notices that Percival is carrying his packages and the Dragon Handle.
Currently, Meliodas is the King of Liones, meaning that he has been in Liones pretty much all this time during Four Knights of the Apocalypse so far.
As the new trailer shows, Meliodas will play a role in the anime’s upcoming events alongside the three other knights of the apocalypse who will make their debut.
With Meliodas returning and the new characters finally appearing, the next arc is no doubt going to be a must-see for series fans.
New episodes of the Four Knights of the Apocalypse anime are released in Japan during the weekend. Meanwhile, fans outside of Japan can stream the series on Netflix.
