The Seven Deadly Sins’ sequel fittingly features a new protagonist in Percival, the young boy who is destined to be part of the four knights who will destroy the world. Thus, a question that many have is if Percival is related to Meliodas in Four Knights of the Apocalypse.
This is a fair question given the similarities that the two have in terms of appearance, especially their small stature. Not to mention that they share the same weapon.

Meliodas’ Status in Four Knights of the Apocalypse
The Seven Deadly Sins manga may have ended back in 2020, but fans were treated to the official sequel titled Four Knights of the Apocalypse, which started in 2021.
Instead of following Meliodas again, this new series is set years after the disbanding of the Seven Deadly Sins. It now follows the young boy Percival who travels alongside Lancelot to find the other knights of the apocalypse.
Even though Percival is now the focal point of the manga, that doesn’t mean Meliodas is no longer a key player in the story.
As mentioned in the ongoing anime adaptation, Meliodas is now the King of Liones, though he has not yet shown himself in the anime.
Despite not appearing, Meliodas is on many viewers’ minds. After all, the fact that Meliodas’ Dragon Handle became Percival’s weapon after being reforged by Howser somewhat implies a connection between the two.

So, Is Percival Related to Meliodas in Four Knights of the Apocalypse?
In the Four Knights of the Apocalypse's seventh arc called Chaos in Liones, Meliodas finally makes a proper appearance as he sees Percival carrying his packages and his Dragon Handle.
Since the two have met, Percival and Meliodas have had several interactions, both in this arc and in the next titled the Wallnack arc.
Even though the two have become acquainted, they don’t seem to have any relations, at least based on the manga’s events.
Of course, there are some theories about potential connections between the two, though they don’t seem to be related by blood or through any other direct means.
More insight on Percival and Meliodas will likely be revealed in the future. The Four Knights of the Apocalypse manga continues to get new chapters weekly.
