The latest episode of Spy x Family Season 2 brought us an update about Agent Twilight’s co-worker, Nightfall, also known as Fiona Frost. While Loid Forger is away on a cruise vacation with his pretend family, Fiona covers his work. So far, what happens to Fiona in Spy x Family?
Fiona Frost first made her anime appearance on Spy x Family Season 1 Episode 20, Investigate the General Hospital/Decipher the Arcane Ciphers.
She made a lasting impression on viewers due to her serious but quirky personality, her attachment to Loid, and her rivalry with Yor.

Who Is Fiona in Spy x Family?
Similar to Loid Forger, Fiona Frost is a spy working for WISE (Westalian Intelligence Services’ Eastern-Focused Division).
Her codename is Nightfall, but she goes by the name Fiona Frost in her disguise as Loid Forger’s assistant at Berlint General Hospital.
It is unclear what Fiona's reasons were for becoming a spy for WISE, unlike Loid, whose backstory has already been explored in the Spy x Family manga.
For now, what is certain is that Fiona spent a lot of time training with Loid to become a spy.
Out of all the agents in WISE, Fiona looked up to Loid the most, to the extent that her respect turned into romantic feelings.
However, Fiona can’t bring up her affection for Loid easily since she vowed to “remain stone-faced for the rest of her life.”
This explains why Fiona looks stoic, cold, and emotionless most of the time. She took Loid’s words seriously when he told her never to show their true feelings to anyone.
Over time, Fiona’s love for Loid got stronger, as if her feelings would burst anytime she'd be talking with him.
If it weren’t for the mission she was working on at the time Loid was assigned Operation Strix, she would have been Loid’s pretend wife.
Even so, Fiona is adamant about stealing Yor’s position as Loid’s pretend wife at all costs. Yor might have defeated her in a one-on-one tennis match, but this will not stop her from improving herself to be worthy of Loid’s affection.
So Far, What Happens to Fiona in Spy x Family?
So far, Fiona Frost is working hard as a WISE agent in Spy x Family. While Loid and his pretend family are away on a cruise vacation, Fiona takes it upon herself to cover Loid’s job in addition to her work assignments.
When Loid returned from his three-day vacation, Fiona looked so worn out that she had bags under her eyes.
She was able to complete all of Loid’s assignments, as well as her own, just to make an impression on the person she loves.
At the end of the day, Fiona’s hard work was all worth it, as Loid gave her a souvenir. It made Fiona so happy that she skipped through the hospital’s hallways like a girl in love.
She missed Loid so much that she couldn't contain her feelings to herself.
Still, Fiona’s fight for Loid’s affection is not yet over. Yor is still Loid’s pretend wife, so Fiona needs to train harder, even if it means going to the mountains again.
