Who Are the Other Heroes in Tsukimichi? Their Roles and Powers Explained
In addition to Makoto Misumi, whom the goddess summoned and abandoned due to his physical appearance, there are two other heroes namely, Tomoki Iwahashi and Hibiki Otonashi.
In the sixth episode of the second season, Tomoe comes face-to-face with Tomoki, while Mio encounters Hibiki.
Who Is Tomoki Iwahashi?
Back in the real world, Tomoki Iwahashi is a victim of bullying. He often gets bullied, but no one seems to believe his stories.
Even if he reports the incident to the school officials or the police, not one soul believes in him.
After being summoned to the new world, Tomoki made a lot of demands to the goddess to change his life.
He asked for different kinds of abilities and extra items like cheats to make him stronger than anyone else, in addition to changing his appearance.
In particular, the goddess granted Tomoki the ability to charm anyone by using his demon-like eye.
With this, Tomoki can easily brainwash other people, especially beautiful girls, to be part of his harem and worship his hero status.
Despite this, Tomoki is weak-minded, which prevents him from becoming stronger. He is characterized by his massive ego and inferiority complex, which makes him an unpopular character in the series.
Who Is Hibiki Otonashi?
Hibiki Otonashi is similar to Suzune Inukami in The Wrong Way to Use Healing Magic.
They are both sick of their boring lives in the real world, which explains why they are so dedicated and committed to their new causes in the new world.
On the other hand, Hibiki is nothing like Tomoki in terms of personality and abilities. She is hardworking and passionate, which makes her a better hero than Tomoki.
In terms of combat prowess, Hibiki is said to be a skilled swordfighter on the same level as a kingdom’s knight, or perhaps more. She also has a guardian spirit (a beast), which helps fight her battles.
She is capable of leading her party members, but her confidence in herself and her inexperience in battle cost Navarre her life.
