For the past few weeks, the rumor mill for The Marvels ignited further as scoopers have claimed that a fan-favorite X-Men character is set to make an appearance in the post-credits scene of the film.

While Marvel Studios has not commented on the rumor yet, they did give a cheeky tease in one of the recent TV spots that they released as fans noticed that the words "comes next" faded with the letter "X" remaining longer on the screen than the rest.

Since the rumor emerged, fans have been excited about the prospect of an X-Men connection in the film and it made them curious about what kind of reference will they make and whether it will serve as a tease to Deadpool 3.

As reported by Sammon News, the press kit for The Marvels has revealed that the themes from X2 and X-Men: Days of Future Past are part of the music of the film that was listed in the end credits.

They were placed at the bottom of the credits, suggesting that the themes will likely be used in the post-credits scene.

This is another major sign that the film is indeed going to feature an X-Men character since the themes from Fox movies were included in the credits and there is no other reason that they're using those specific music except if a character from the Fox X-Men movies shows up.

For reference, when Patrick Stewart's Charles Xavier appeared in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, the "X-Men '97 Theme" was used when he first showed up and it was also named as one of the music in the film's end credits.

In the case of the upcoming film, we can certainly say that the character who will show up is a variant from the Fox movies given the kind of music that they will use.

Now, all fans need to do is speculate which exact character will show up in the film. Rumors have suggested that it's a certain character with blue fur who will appear and, fortunately, we're only just a few days before we'll be able to find out the answer.

The Marvels is set to arrive in theaters this Friday, November 10.
