The Mandalorian Season 3 may not be everyone's cup of tea but it still can't be denied that Disney+'s flagship Star Wars program remains the franchise's most popular series.

As it stands, key details about the fourth season remain under wraps although there have been rumors swirling over the last couple of months surrounding the extent of Pedro Pascal's involvement.

For the uninitiated, Pascal himself confirmed earlier this year that he only did voice work for the third season, hence Din Djarin not removing his helmet in any scenes. Now, will the upcoming season be any different?

In the newest issue of Kings of Screen Magazine (Star Wars Meg), Pascal shared his excitement about doing Season 4 which is also heavily rumored to be turned into a film. The actor's response is quite intriguing.

He said: "There's always new things to learn, which is unique in that you wouldn't expect it from an armoured, faceless character"

The way he worded his statement seemingly implies that once again, he won't be physically involved in Season 4 but of course, no official word has been released.

Pascal also shared his collaboration with Jon Favreau and Dave Filoni, saying: "The open relationship that I have creatively with Jon and David in terms of going back into a scene and changing the tone, trying to ratchet up the tension or the sentiment."

It won't be long until we find out if Pascal will or will not be physically involved in Season 4. Just recently, it was reported that cameras will begin rolling for the series in February 2024.

But given how next year looks to be quite demanding for Pedro, it wouldn't be shocking at all if we don't get a helmetless Mando for Season 4.

The first three seasons of The Mandalorian are available to stream on Disney+.
