Footage from the upcoming Star Wars series The Acolyte was recently leaked online ahead of its exclusive release in theaters.
A while ago, it was announced that the 25th-anniversary rerelease of The Phantom Menace will include exclusive footage from The Acolyte that gives the audience an early glimpse at the series.
There has been a lot of anticipation for The Acolyte since it is the first major Star Wars project that is set in the High Republic era and will feature new characters and elements that we haven't seen in other live-action shows.

The Acolyte Sneak Peek Footage Leaks Online
The sneak peek footage of The Acolyte recently leaked online ahead of its supposed release in the screenings of the 25th-anniversary re-release of The Phantom Menace this week.
The exclusive preview mostly focused on a fight sequence between Amandla Stenberg's Mae and Carrie-Anne Moss' Jedi Master Indara.
The sequence starts with Mae entering a cantina and approaching Indara at a table. A fight ensued between Mae and the surrounding goons.
Mae and Indara eventually have a face-off themselves using martial arts and the Force. It ended with Indara wielding her lightsaber.
The footage is followed by the already-released official trailer, which has been available publicly since March.
For the past few months, we've been hearing remarks from the people involved in the series that they have high ambitions for the action sequences and they intended to surpass The Phantom Menace in the lightsaber fights.
The footage showed promising signs that the series will have great action sequences that will excite the viewers and set up an expectation for the other fight scenes that we might see throughout the first season.
It is interesting to see what else they have in store for the series. It is likely that we will be seeing more sneak peeks in the weeks leading up to its premiere.
The Acolyte is set to premiere with two episodes this June 4 on Disney+.
