Tek Knight is a graduate of Godolkin University and the host of a true-crime series called “The Whole Truth” (streaming on Vought+).

Tek Knight’s reputation is formidable. People who get questioned by him often end up dead or beaten into comas.

Tek Knight arrives in the fourth episode of Gen V. He travels to Godolkin to film an episode of his Vought+ series, which would be about Luke Riordan’s death.

However, Vought asked him to make sure that no one knew the truth and just put the blame on a student.

He also served as a guest lecturer in the Superhero Branding class. His interrogation method is seen when he questions Marie in class about Golden Boy’s rampage.

His line of questioning led Marie to break, with her revealing the truth that she ran away and that the only reason she is still alive is because Jordan held Luke long enough for her to get away.

Tek Knight also uses his powers whenever he interrogates people.

In The Boys comics, Tek Knight does not have powers. He only uses technological enhancements. But in Gen V, he has enhanced powers of deduction and superhuman senses.

For instance, he could see a person’s sweat from afar, hear their heart rate go up, and see their pupils dilating. With his abilities, he was also able to conclude that Andre and Cate were in a sexual relationship.

It is implied that he has superhuman strength too. In an interview with Cate, when he notices her attempting to take her gloves off (presumably to use her powers), he tells her that he will take her hand off.

Talking about Tek Knight in Gen V, The Boys showrunner Eric Kripke told Entertainment Weekly:

"In the comics, he's basically Iron Man and we cannot afford to do that suit. Her [Jessica Chou, Gen V Episode 4 writer] pitch was, 'Let's make him more Batman than Iron Man.' He's a combo of both. He has his own underground cave, [but] instead of Tony Stark, if we made him the world's greatest detective, then he doesn't need a big, crazy suit. We can have fun with true-crime shows and the inherent fascism of Batman."

Will Tek Knight Appear in The Boys Season 4?

At the end of Gen V Episode 4, Tek Knight leaves, saying that Golden Boy simply snapped. This comes after Dean Shetty threatened to leak videos of his activities with inanimate objects.

As his character is often mentioned in The Boys, he could possibly appear in the original series too. His appearance in Gen V may be just the beginning.

When asked about whether he could appear in The Boys Season 4, Kripke said "I shall neither confirm nor deny." So, there’s a chance that we would see Tek Knight again.
