Teen Wolf Movie Teases New Images; Hints Allison’s Return

With 2022 coming to an end, "Wolfies" or "Teen Wolf" fans have something to be excited for in the coming year, as the series revival Teen Wolf: The Movie is just around the corner.

Following the behind-the-scenes photos revealed on Twitter, to verify the production had wrapped filming. Entertainment Weekly recently released new images from the film to tease fans’ growing expectations.

In the new unveiled stills, fans got fresh looks of Nogitsune, Allison, and more recurring characters from the beloved MTV series. Check some of them HERE:

As the series has now been off the air for five years, the film is set to continue the narrative that ran from 2011 to 2017. Although the movie is set 13 years later, Beacon Hills remains dangerous and in need of a hero and allies to defend the neighborhood against Banshees, Werecoyotes, Hellhounds, Kitsunes, and other shapeshifters.

Originally, the series follows teenager Scott McCall who gets bitten by an unknown animal in Beacon Hills and starts to suffer strange physiological changes that eventually cause him to turn into a werewolf.

The Teen Wolf: The Movie trailer revealed that the Nogitsune, one of the MTV show's most popular villains, is also returning in the upcoming revival film alongside Allison Argent (played by Crystal Reed). Watch the trailer below:

Show creator Jeff Davis is coming back to write and produce the movie, alongside original cast members Tyler Posey, Tyler Hoechlin, Holland Roden, Linden Ashby, and Melissa Ponzio reprising their roles. Dylan O'Brien, Arden Cho, and Cody Christian are confirmed as not returning.

Given Teen Wolf’s large following, the series also has a new spinoff in development titled Wolf Pack that will be set in the same universe and share mythology. With the movie’s release still on hold, the spinoff remains in pre-production but is sure to happen after the film reaches the "Wolfies".

Teen Wolf: The Movie will premiere on January 26 on Paramount+.

All six seasons of the series are now available to stream on the same platform.
