In his recent post on Instagram, Gunn shared a group photo of the entire main cast of Superman: Legacy as they took a selfie together.

"After the table read with the #Superman cast. Eve, Mr. Terrific, Superman/Clark, Otis, Lex, producer Peter Safran, Jimmy, Metamorpho, Lois, Hawkgirl, me, Guy, The Engineer all together for the first time! What a wonderful day," he wrote in his caption.

Gunn, David Corenswet, Rachel Brosnahan, Nicholas Hoult, Sara Sampaio, Edi Gathegi, Skyler Gisondo, Anthony Carrigan, Isabela Merced, Nathan Fillion, María Gabriela de Faría, Terence Rosemore, and DC Studios co-chairman/producer Peter Safran are all present together in the photo.

The most notable part of the group photo is the reveal that Hoult has already shaved his head in preparation for playing Lex Luthor, who is known to have a bald look.

The film is slated to begin filming in Trilith Studios in Atlanta this March and is expected to film until around summer.

Recently, Gunn cast House of the Dragon star Milly Alcock to play Supergirl in the DCU. It is unknown yet whether the character will make an appearance in Superman: Legacy.

Now, fans anticipate seeing their official first look at the main actors in costume as their respective characters. They will likely release photos once production begins.

Superman: Legacy is slated to arrive in theaters on July 11, 2025.
