The much-awaited spinoff series of Strong Girl Bong-soon is finally on Netflix. While we already know that the stars of the OG show will make a cameo in Strong Girl Nam-soon, the show gave viewers a treat with Cha Eun-woo's cameo. If you missed THAT scene, here's more info to keep you hooked.
What Was Cha Eun-woo's Role in Strong Girl Nam-soon?
Cha Eun-woo's cameo in Strong Girl Nam-soon was a blink-and-you'll-miss-it scene. Gang Nam-soon (played by Lee Yoo-mi) was expressing her excitement to return to South Korea and meet her idol. She tells her adoptive father about her desire to meet a Korean guy and protect him.
It was later revealed that Nam-soon's idol was none other than the ASTRO member. Nam-soon also dreamt of marrying her idol one day. Although she doesn't mention the name of her idol, we see her talking to an album full of Cha Eun-woo's photos.
She tells her idol, "Let's meet someday."
This particular scene sparked enthusiasm among viewers since it showed how relatable the character was.
Will His Character Return in the Series?
To be clear, Cha Eun-woo has not made an appearance in the series yet. But with Nam-soon's declaration "Let's meet someday," there's a pretty good chance that he will be making a cameo in the later episodes.
Our prediction is that he will "casually" bump into Eun-woo at a time when she is already in love with Gang Hee-sik (played by Ong Seong-wu). And then she chooses Hee-sik over her former crush.
This is a likely scenario we're expecting in a romantic comedy. But since there hasn't been any confirmation yet, it's still something we can wish that will happen in the future episodes of the show. Plus, it would be a huge bonus if the other ASTRO members would make a cameo too.
Who Are the Other Cameos in Strong Girl Nam-soon?
When Strong Girl Nam-soon was first confirmed, it was revealed that the two stars of the original series, Strong Girl Bong-soon, will be making a cameo on the show.
But right now, it's unclear which episode Park Bo-young and Park Hyung-sik's cameos will be released.
Park Bo-young also spoke about this in a recent livestream and revealed that she took a picture with Park Hyung-sik. The photo will be shared on their Instagram accounts once the episode with their cameo airs.

Aside from Bo-young and Hyung-sik, ASTRO's Cha Eun-woo's cameo in Strong Girl Nam-soon was a surprise. But fans are still hoping that he will actually appear in the series instead of just his photos.
Another cameo that excited the fans was Kim Won-hae's. In the original series, Won-hae played two different roles. In one of those roles, Bo-young's character, Bong-soon punches him, which causes him to lose his front teeth.
It's an exciting repeat of events as the veteran actor did the scene once again. Only this time, Hwang Geum-joo (played by Kim Jung-eun) flicked his mouth which caused his teeth to fall out. She also flicks his forehead, causing him to pass out.
Won-hae's return to the series may not play a significant role in Strong Girl Nam-soon but it was a pleasant surprise for the fans of the OG show.
