What is Strong Girl Nam-soon About?
When Strong Girl Bong-soon came out, it quickly became a classic romantic comedy. Its spin-off series, Strong Girl Nam-soon, will follow in its footsteps.
The sequel follows the story of Gang Nam-soon (played by Lee Yoo-mi) who goes missing from her family as a child. When she becomes an adult, she gets an opportunity to return to Korea to look for her family.
She discovers that her mother and grandmother both live in Gangnam and are part of an influential and wealthy family. Like her, these women also have superhuman strength.
Will There Be Romance in Strong Girl Nam-soon?
Strong Girl Bong-soon was a mystery thriller. The show also had a love triangle portrayed by Do Bong-soon (played by Park Bo-young), Ahn Min-hyuk (played by Park Hyung-sik), and Guk Doo (played by Ji Soo).
But when the show ended, the main characters got together in the ending.
In Strong Girl Nam-soon, there's no information yet on whether it will have a love triangle to look forward to again. But we already suspect that Nam-soon will be paired with Gang Hee-sik (played by Ong Seong-wu).
The other male lead, Ryu Shi-oh (played by Byeon Woo-seok), could be a potential love triangle for Nam-soon. But since he plays the villain, the idea of a love triangle may not be happening in this spin-off series.
There's also the possible love triangle between Nam-soon's mother Hwang Geum-joo (played by Kim Jung-eun), Nam-soon's estranged father, Gang Bong-go (played by Lee Seung-joon), and Geum-joo's new husband.
Also, the trailer gives us a peek into Nam-soon's grandmother, Gil Joong-gan (played by Kim Hae-sook) who gets another chance at love.

What to Expect from Strong Girl Nam-soon?
Strong Girl Nam-soon continues the tradition of a "strong girl" in the very essence of the word. The two stories feature an iconic female lead who hopes to inspire a generation of young women to follow in their footsteps.
Despite the petite and delicate features of the lead character, Strong Girl Nam-soon proves that women can be anything they want to be. And with Lee Yoo-mi as the lead, the legacy of Strong Girl Bong-soon was handed over to a competent actress.
But apart from being a rom-com, Strong Girl Nam-soon will also be a mystery crime thriller. The trio gets involved in a drug case that tests their credibility. Together, they help each other get rid of the drug syndicate that has become prevalent in their city.
