Stranger Things Season 4 once again introduced the love triangle between Nancy (Natalia Dyer), Jonathan (Charlie Heaton), and Steve (Joe Keery). This complicated romantic relationship may continue in Stranger Things Season 5, affecting their character developments and story arcs.

Hence, this love triangle is believed to must end in Stranger Things Season 5 before it's too late. It's also seen to badly affect Nancy, Jonathan, and Steve's story arcs that the series created from the start.

According to Screen Rant, the love triangle's reintroduction just jeopardized these characters' story arcs.

For the past three seasons, fans saw Nancy and Steve dating. But they eventually split due to their different maturity levels.

Jonathan then entered the picture and started dating Nancy. As they began a relationship, Steve became independent and more mature.

The Need to Put the Love Triangle to a Close

The show must close this love triangle to save Nancy, Steve, and Jonathan's integrity.
