Star Wars: The Bad Batch Season 2 Trailer, Release Window Revealed

Star Wars Celebration continues and this time, we got a major update on Clone Force 99. The official trailer for Star Wars: The Bad Batch Season 2 has just been dropped and it looks like the group is set for more adventures. In addition to that, it has been confirmed that the animated series will finally be returning later this year!

The first trailer for Star Wars: The Bad Batch Season 2 was shared during Star Wars Celebration and it opens with Cid telling the group that they can buy their freedom and have a future. "Isn't that what you want?" she asks the clones. Hunter has the perfect response to that: "We're already free."

Although the Bad Batch is no longer tied to the Galactic Empire, that doesn't mean they can totally do away with it. As Omega sneaks around, Emperor Palpatine shows up and declares that "it is time for a new era."

It's an exciting trailer that features Omega, Hunter, Wrecker, Tech, and Echo going into cool new territories and we see interesting new characters along the way (a Wookiee with a lightsaber!) so there is little doubt that The Bad Batch Season 2 is going to be something to look forward to.

The first season of The Bad Batch aired on Disney+ on a special date (May the Fourth!) back in 2021 and there have been hopes that the animated show will return later that year. Although it will be a long wait, we're expecting Season 2 to be worth it.

Star Wars: The Bad Batch Season 2 has not yet been given an official release date. However, it is already expected to premiere on Disney+ in Fall 2022.
