We're still waiting for the premiere of Ahsoka but Rosario Dawson is already looking towards the future. The Mandalorian star confirmed she is hoping to work on another Star Wars project, preferably with series creator Dave Filoni.

Rosario Dawson Wants To Work on More Star Wars Projects With Dave Filoni

Rosario Dawson recently spoke to Total Film magazine where she was asked if there is more about Ahsoka Tano that needs to be explored (via GamesRadar). Not surprisingly, the Book of Boba Fett actor admitted she wants to keep learning about the character.

"I mean, I do, and I hope [Dave Filoni] does," she said.

There is little doubt that Rosario Dawson looks up to Dave Filoni and she admitted that she is amazed by his Star Wars journey.

"I really marvel at Dave's journey, and I'm so happy for him and proud of him," she said.

"I've loved him as a fan, and now, having had the chance to be on set with him daily and work with him, and pick his brain, and him being my own personal encyclopedia for everything Star Wars and beyond – it's just been a marvel," Dawson added.

"I think he's one of the greatest I've ever worked with in this medium and in this space," she continued. "And I hope that he continues to bring Ahsoka along."

Dawson explained, "Because he's been very loyal to her over the years, and she to him. That's not going away any time soon."

"So any kind of way and iteration that I can keep working with Dave, and being inspired by him, and challenging him when I can – it would be awesome," she concluded.

Ahsoka will star Natasha Liu Bordizzo as Sabine Wren, Mary Elizabeth Winstead as Hera Syndulla, Hayden Christensen as Darth Vader, Eman Esfandi as Ezra Bridger, Ivanna Sakhno as Shin Hati, and Lars Mikkelsen as Grand Admiral Thrawn.

The series is set to be the first posthumous release for the late Ray Stevenson. The Thor: Ragnarok star, who passed away in May this year, plays Baylan Skoll in the show.

Ahsoka will consist of eight episodes and is finally set to premiere on Disney+ on August 23, 2023.
