The entertainment industry is in an absolute state of shock after news broke out today that Irish actor Ray Stevenson has passed away at the age of 58.
Best known for his roles in projects like Punisher: War Zone, the Thor film franchise, and the Academy Award-winning Indian film RRR, Stevenson's stellar acting career spanned three decades.
Star Wars and Marvel Actor Ray Stevenson Passes Away at 58
As per initial reports from various outlets like The Wrap and Variety, Stevenson was filming a project on the island of Ischia, an upcoming drama titled Cassino in Ischia from director Frank Ciota. The actor was said to be taken to the hospital on Saturday, May 20, and would die the following day.
Although his publicist would confirm his untimely passing, Stevenson's cause of death has yet to be disclosed as of writing.
The last project the actor completed was Star Wars' standalone Ahsoka series where he plays Baylon Skoll, a mysterious Force-sensitive human who's going to serve as one of Ahsoka Tano's antagonists.

In fact, just last month, fans finally got a glimpse of Stevenson's character in what would turn out to be his posthumous performance. The late actor would also grace the Star Wars Celebration in London and appear during Ahsoka's special panel.
