A recent rumor surrounding the official title of Daisy Ridley's new Star Wars movie has been debunked by new reports.

Several scoopers have claimed that the new Star Wars movie that will bring Rey Skywalker back into the fold will be titled "Episode X: A New Beginning" or just simply "A New Beginning."

So far, Lucasfilm has not officially announced the title of the highly-anticipated Star Wars project which is still deep into development at the moment.

Multiple reports have debunked the claims that Ridley's new Star Wars movie is going to be titled "A New Beginning."

After The Cosmic Circus published an article revealing the working titles of The Mandalorian & Grogu and Ridley's New Jedi Order movie, insiders immediately clarified the claims in the report.

StarWars.com contributor Jordan Maison confirmed through his direct sources from Lucasfilm that the rumored "A New Beginning" title of the Ridley movie is "categorically incorrect."

"Can confirm, with info directly from Lucasfilm that reports of the Rey-centric #StarWars movie being titled ‘Episode X: A New Beginning’ is 'categorically incorrect,'" he wrote in his post on X.

Maison also added, "While working title is ‘New Jedi Order,’ 'No other titles have been/are being used at this time.'"

Star Wars News Net also confirmed in their report that the Ridley movie is not going to be titled "A New Beginning" and it is referred to internally as the "New Jedi Order" project.

This should clarify all the confusion that has happened surrounding the title of the project as it sounds like Lucasfilm has not settled on the official name that they will use once it moves forward to production.

Considering that it is still in development, it will take a while before we will hear some news regarding its title and fans should wait for an update in the near future.
