Along with the upcoming season, Spy x Family fans are in for another treat. Spy x Family Volume 12 is available now in Japan, and it features Sylvia Sherwood on the cover.
The new cover is similar to previous manga volume covers as it features a character sitting on a designer chair. What makes this new release unique, though, is that it features four pages of bonus comics starring Anya.
Spy x Family Fans Are Being Treated to Lots of Exciting Releases
Tatsuya Endo may have been apologetic over the latest chapter’s delay, but Spy x Family fans didn’t seem to mind. After all, there are lots of upcoming projects in the franchise to look forward to.
Firstly, there’s the second season of Wit Studio and CloverWorks’ anime adaptation which will finally premiere this weekend.
Fans are excited about this as it will cover one of the most anticipated arcs from the manga.
To hype up the anime’s release, the show’s opening credits was shared online. Aside from featuring a new song by Ado, the opening is also a must-see as it’s directed by Masaaki Yuasa, a notable anime director.
If that’s not enough, the Spy x Family Code: White movie is also something that fans can look forward to as it will be released in Japanese cinemas later this year.
This new movie will feature an all-new story. Its canon status may be unclear, but fans will be happy to know that its story is written by Endo himself, so it should be a must-watch.

Then there’s the manga. Even though the manga has seen some chapter delays over the past months, it continues to get new chapters.
Yesterday, the newest volume was finally released in Japan, featuring Chapters 76 to 84.
Gracing the cover of the new chapter is Sylvia Sherwood, Twilight’s handler and commanding officer in WISE.
The Volume 12 cover shows Sylvia sitting on a Diamond Chair, a designer chair by Harry Bertoia.
This continues the trend of designer chairs being featured on volume covers, with the reason being that Endo is a big fan of them.
Spy x Family Volume 12 is out now in Japan. Meanwhile, fans in the US can expect its English version to come out in 2024.
For now, fans can read the Spy x Family manga in English through Viz Media’s Shonen Jump app or Manga Plus, which recently launched a subscription service.
