Spy x Family Season 2 Gets Adorable Double-Feature Visual

To hype up the show’s awaited return, Spy x Family shared a cute double-feature visual for Season 2, which features Anya Forger front and center. The visual also hints at what fans can expect in the new season.

This new visual was shared on the anime’s official X (formerly Twitter) account.

Along with the visual, the season’s specific premiere date has also been revealed. Fans won’t have to wait long as its release is just weeks away.

Spy x Family Season 2 Will Cover the Fan-Favorite Cruise Adventure Arc

Spy x Family was one of the most popular shows of 2022 as it has something for everyone. Aside from its compelling found-family premise, it has just the right combination of action, comedy, and romance.

Thanks to its popularity, the show was quickly renewed for a second season. This new season was announced at Jump Festa back in December 2022. Along with it came an original movie announcement.

Since the announcement, the Code: White movie has been promoted several times, but the new anime season hasn’t been given much attention except for a teaser for the next arc.

The previous teaser confirmed that the new season will follow the Cruise Adventure arc. As its name implies, this arc will see the Forger family trio go on a cruise.

Manga readers are excited for this arc as many consider this as one of the best parts of the manga so far. This is because the arc finally puts the spotlight on Yor Forger.

Spy x Family Gets Cute ‘Double-Feature’ Visual for Season 2

There’s still no new trailer, but Spy x Family Season 2 did get a new reversible visual. What’s interesting about the visual is that it’s reversible, with the blue half highlighting the upcoming Cruise arc.

Meanwhile, the other half has a pink color scheme and shows Anya alongside the other major characters in Eden Academy. You can check out the key visual here:

Based on the visual, the next season should have even more hijinks featuring Anya over at Eden Academy.

From the looks of it, Bond Forger might also appear in the school as he’s in the pink part of the visual.

Spy x Family Season 2 will premiere on October 7, 2023. Meanwhile, the Code: White movie will be released in Japan in December.
