The Spy x Family mania isn’t stopping anytime soon. Aside from the ongoing season and the Code: White film’s premiere in Japan, there’s also the new game release. Today, Bandai Namco released the Spy x Family: Operation Diary game, complete with DLC featuring new outfits for the Forger family.
This new Operation Diary game was announced a few months ago, and it is finally available on the Nintendo Switch.
Spy x Family’s First Game Operation Memories Is Now Available in Japan
Since the anime’s first season premiered in 2022, Spy x Family has quickly become one of Japan’s biggest media franchises. Aside from anime, the series has gotten a lot of merch and game collabs over the past year.
Collabs aren’t enough, as the first Spy x Family game titled Operation Diary (or Spy x Anya: Operation Memories outside of Japan) is available now in Japan on the Nintendo Switch, with a worldwide release happening next year.
Typically, anime games are arena fighters or RPGs. This one is different as Operation Diary is a more lighthearted and kid-friendly title that follows Anya’s daily life.
In this game, players take on the role of Anya Forger as she’s given an assignment during one of her classes at Eden Academy.
Anya’s task is to make a photo diary. Players can do this by taking photos in various family outings.
What’s more, the game will also feature 15 mini-games, including peanut-themed bowling and rhythm training with Yor, among others.

Spy x Family: Operation Diary Game's DLC Features New Forger Family Outfits
The game is available on the Switch in Japan in a Standard and Deluxe Edition. Operation Diary’s digital deluxe edition will come with access to two DLC packs that will be available beginning December 31.
Both DLC packs feature adorable new outfits for the Forger family trio. The first is the Doki Doki Costume Pack, which features a set of white tux and dresses, as well as the Forgers' work attire and Anya’s Secret Agent outfit.
Next is the Waku Waku Costume pack. This pack features a set of denim-themed casual outfits for the family, as well as punk rock-inspired leather and plaid combo apparel.
These DLC packs will be free for owners of the Deluxe Edition. Meanwhile, Standard Edition owners can purchase this on the Nintendo eShop.
In Japan, the game will be released on PC, PS5, and PS4 sometime in 2024. Meanwhile, the game will be released as Spy x Anya: Operation Memories internationally. It will be released on Switch, PS5, PS4, and PC in 2024.
