The Marvel Cinematic Universe has long catered to a different demographic of fans, and let's be honest, horror isn't typically something that it's known for.

When Loki and Sylvie got pruned into the Void, it was only then and there that they uncovered the mystery behind the Time Variance Authority.

But just before they could meet with the man behind it all, Miss Minutes appeared out of nowhere.

In the blink of an eye, the cartoon clock blinked right in front of them with a haunting look on her face, as her last warning before seeing He Who Remains.

There had been times when Wanda's whole sitcom illusion in Westview started crumbling.

There were two of the spookiest moments in WandaVision: one is when Vision's pale corpse appeared out of nowhere. Although, it's worth mentioning that this corpse is but a figment of her imagination, something the Scarlet Witch has been trying to suppress.

The other was when Evan Peters' Quicksilver / Pietro Maximoff also turned into a corpse, a reminder to Wanda that both her lovers and twin brother were already dead, no matter how much she tried denying it.

Wanda was always meant to be the villain, it would seem. Her debut in Avengers: Age of Ultron had her manipulate all the Avengers into dreaming up their worst fears.

Black Widow was brought back to the place that trained her to become the ruthless assassin she became, Captain America lost the love of his life, Thor lost his friends and his worth in Asgard, and most evidently, Tony Stark.

Wanda's infliction on Iron Man was the worst. It even led to his trauma in Iron Man 3, when the Battle of New York ensued and nearly killed the team.

Perhaps one of the most unsettling moments in the MCU was when Peter Parker had to see Iron Man's corpse in Spider-Man: Far From Home.

Although this was an illusion cast by Mysterio, at the time, Spider-Man was still mourning the death of his mentor, considering he had just returned from the ashes when Tony died in front of his eyes.

Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness is undoubtedly supposed to be a horror genre in the MCU. That is, until they tuned it down to fit the billion-dollar franchise's theme

Even so, Wanda has had her strangest moments unveiled in the Doctor Strange sequel.

Not only did her cracked bones escape from the mirror dimension, but even when she 'dream walked' into another variant of hers and slaughtered each and every one of the Illuminati.

Not to mention, the sequel even featured the titular hero's zombie variant coming to life to face the Scarlet Witch before the universe meets its impending doom.
