Not counting his voice role in the first season of What If...?, Paul Bettany made his most recent MCU appearance in WandaVision back in early 2021. Since then, he hasn't shown up again in any project.
While the main Vision himself died at the end of Infinity War, the White Vision is still around the Earth and they have yet to address what happened to the character following his mysterious fate at the end of WandaVision.
Fans are also starting to wonder whether the actor is still set to make an appearance in the franchise and now he has finally weighed in on his potential return to the franchise.

Paul Bettany Reveals He Is Set to Make His MCU Return
In his recent appearance on a MegaCon 2024 panel (via The Direct), Paul Bettany was asked if there's a possibility that he is set to make his return as the Vision in the MCU soon.
He confirmed that he is indeed set to reprise the role in the franchise again, but he declined to reveal which specific project he will appear in.
"Well, yeah... I mean, why wouldn't I? Yes, 100%," he said.
Bettany also discussed his process of playing the android character and capturing his humanity despite who he is.
"No idea. Well, I do have one idea. My plan was that he's sort of an omnipotent ingénue when he's born. And then as he gets more and more sophisticated with the amount of data that he's receiving, he becomes more human," the actor told the audience.
"When you're doing robots or artificial people or whatever it is, I guess the two stories really are Pinocchio and Frankenstein. 'I'm a real boy now' or 'Who made me and what for?' I suppose are the stories. So we were definitely in the Pinocchio camp. And that's a really fun arc to play."
While Bettany didn't reveal the MCU project he will return to, it is likely that it is the Vision Quest project which has been reported to be in the works and remains in development as far as everyone knows at this point.
Since there's still a story to tell with the White Vision, it is not also surprising that Bettany is confirmed to make his return and hopefully we finally hear more details in the coming months.
