Michael Keaton recently addressed his cameo appearance as the Vulture in the post-credits scene of Morbius.

Following his acclaimed villainous turn in Spider-Man: Homecoming, Keaton showed up briefly in Morbius where the character was somewhat magically transported into the Sony Universe and formed a team with Morbius.

The post-credits scene received polarizing responses from fans as they found it confusing and illogical as well as its seemingly set-up to a potential Sinister Six movie.

In a recent interview on the Happy Sad Confused podcast, Keaton was asked whether he understood the explanation behind his cameo appearance as the Vulture in the post-credits scene of Morbius.

He admitted that he was also confused about his appearance and the filmmaker did not seemingly understand as well when he tried to explain to him the idea.

"No. No idea. None. Zero. Even they couldn't quite explain it. He said, 'Look, let me just kind of tell you.' And I go, 'I don't even know what you're talking about and even who some of these people are.' He said, 'Okay, Let me explain.'" Keaton recalled.

"But it was complicated because they're looking down the road. He said, 'Here's how it's gonna work. This is what's gonna happen.' I said, 'Okay, I'm in. Let's just try it.'"

Up to this day, the post-credits scene of Morbius remains divisive among fans, and none of Sony's Spider-Man Universe (SSU) projects since then has addressed it.

It was clear in Keaton's comments that he also did not get the logic behind his cameo appearance in the film and how it was logically possible for him to transport to another universe (which fans know did not truly make sense at all).

For now. let's wait and see whether Sony will follow up on that twist or it will end up being forgotten since Morbius was not a huge success.
