The internet has long been the fans' top source when it comes to casting news and updates. However, a recent listing from Google just proved that the World Wide Web shouldn't be trusted at all times.
Just recently, a cast listing the search engine created for the upcoming Venom 3 went viral on social media, after an apparent mistake that left a lot of folks scratching their heads.

Google Mistakenly Casts Norman Reedus as Aunt May in Venom 3 in Hilarious Error
In the said listing, shared by X (formerly Twitter) page The Hollywood Handle, the search engine cast The Walking Dead star Norman Reedus in the Venom threequel.
But here's where things get odd because instead of being cast as a regular character or villain, Google cast the actor as Aunt May Parker, a role previously played by Marisa Tomei in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
The said listing has since been edited by Google and there's a good chance Reedus' inclusion in the casting was just an error... or is it? What if Sony is hinting at his involvement in the blockbuster?
It's worth mentioning that Reedus has long expressed his desire to be in a superhero flick although he wants to play Ghost Rider in the MCU.
As it stands, key details about Venom 3 have yet to be released but considering the predicament we last saw Eddie Brock and his symbiote, there's a solid chance it picks up right where Spider-Man: No Way Home left off.

Will Aunt May be in Venom 3?
There's no official confirmation from Sony whether Aunt May or any of the Parkers for that matter will be in Venom 3. But considering Eddie now has knowledge of Peter's existence, it wouldn't be too farfetched to think that Earth-688's Spider-Man will make his debut soon.
Sony Pictures' Venom 3 is currently slated for release on November 8, 2024.
