MotU: Revolution was finally released on the 25th of January 2024, but fans are already wanting more! So, will there be a Masters of the Universe: Revolution Part 2?

What Happens in Masters of the Universe: Revolution?
Masters of the Universe: Revolution, the highly-anticipated sequel of Masters of the Universe: Revelation, was full of wild twists that shocked fans.
The greatest development was the revelation that Skeletor, who is seen working for the villain Hordak, actually meant to betray him all along.
Episode 4 of MotU: Revolution features a big battle between them which isn't the last we've seen of Hordak.
The fifth episode, which is the last of this batch, initially seems like a finale, with disaster averted and the world saved.
However, another twist reveals that Hordak is recuperating from his battle with Skeletor.
Even more shockingly, the finale of MotU: Revolution reveals a character we hadn't expected to see; She-Ra, also known as Adora (or Despara in her villainous version).
Whether or not She-Ra would appear in the new MotU series had been up for debate due to copyrighting concerns as another She-Ra series is also on Netflix.
In a 2021 interview, however, producer Kevin Smith has already revealed his interest in finding a sustainable way to work with the character:
“The only thing that I’ve been told over and over again is the properties are owned by two different companies [...] Masters of the Universe is owned by Mattel.
The She-Ra figures are owned by Mattel but (animated) She-Ra is owned by DreamWorks.”
Will There Be a Masters of the Universe: Revolution Part 2? Release Speculations
As of writing, the possibility of Masters of the Universe: Revolution Part 2 has not been officially confirmed, but the first five episodes were created with a continuation in mind.
MotU: Revolution Episode 5 ended on a major cliffhanger that couldn't have been the series' intended ending.
The introduction of a highly anticipated character voiced by Grey DeLisle has left fans hungry for more.
Moreover, five episodes seem too few for any series, and Masters of the Universe: Revelation was also released in two parts with a four-month gap between them.
This has been Netflix's strategy for other shows, such as the latest season of Stranger Things, and we wouldn't be surprised if the same happened with MotU: Revolution.
If that was the case, we could see Masters of the Universe: Revolution Part 2 air in May 2024, but this hasn't been confirmed yet.
