WandaVision is currently set to make its debut this December on Disney+. As the title suggests, the show will be focused on characters Wanda Maximoff a.k.a Scarlet Witch as well as Vision. Shooting will continue next month which indicates that the show is on track with its release date, but Disney has encountered an issue in attempting to trademark "WandaVision."

In a recent report from Bleeding Cool, Hong Kong's The Wanda Group is challenging the US trademark of the word. Naturally, Marvel sought to trademark "WandaVision" for their own purposes. However, the said group isn't happy with that.

Wanda Group, Ltd has a long list of registered trademarks for Wanda in various areas. However, the ones they challenged Marvel with include video games, action figures, board games, balloons, Christmas-related toys, and decorations, dolls, and many more. The group has been given an extension by the US government to challenge Marvel over the trademark.

Should the Wanda group win, it's uncertain as to how it'll affect the show overall. That said, it is likely that Marvel could end up changing the title completely or into something quite similar.

As for the show itself, plot details are quite scarce. However, recent reports reveal that Quicksilver actor Evan Peters is rumored to join the cast of WandaVision as well.

WandaVision is expected to arrive on Disney+ later this year.
