What was the Song Featured in Madame Web's Trailer?
Madame Web will soon be added to the list of installments in Sony's Spider-Man Universe library.
Considering that the Dakota Johnson-led flick will focus heavily on the titular character's attempt to figure out how her clairvoyance works, using Billie Eilish's hit song Bury a Friend for the trailer seems timely.
Bury A Friend is the tenth track from Billie Eilish's debut album When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go?
The song discusses themes of death, disorientation with one's identity, and potentially being the monster you feared all along—which perfectly fits Madame Web's main plotline.
"[Bury A Friend] is literally from the perspective of the monster under my bed," Billie explained on Alternative Press back in 2019, "I also confess that I'm this monster because I'm my worst enemy, I might be the monster under your bed, too."
Apart from the Grammy-winning singer's track, fans of '90s pop music would highly appreciate the selection of songs curated for Madame Web. Unsurprisingly, the film's soundtrack brings together a pretty stellar ensemble.

The complete soundtrack for Madame Web was arranged and composed by none other than the award-winning film composer Johan Söderqvist, who is best known for working on Anatomy of a Scandal in 2022, as well as Kon-Tiki, and Department: The Keeper of Lost Causes, to name a few.
