Will Jessica Drew Be in Madame Web 2024?
Madame Web will be seeing Dakota Johnson make her superhero debut as the titular hero aka Cassandra Webb alongside Sydney Sweeney's Julia Cornwell (better known as Julia Carpenter in Marvel Comics).
While fans are psyched to see their favorite female Spider-heroes sling on the big screens, they can't help but wonder whether Jessica Drew will be featured in the 2024 film.
Considering that Jessica is the first Spider-Woman who made her debut in 1977's Marvel Spotlight #32, it's difficult to imagine having a Spider-Woman-centered story without the original hero who pretty much started it all.
Keep in mind that Gwen Stacy aka Spider-Gwen already made her theatrical debut in the Spider-Verse franchise, and is being eyed to have her stand-alone animated film sometime in the future.
While Gwen isn't exactly in Madame Web, fans of Jessica Drew are hoping to see her be depicted in live-action.

Jessica Drew's Madame Web Absence Disappoints Spider-Man Fans
The first time we saw Jessica Drew was when she busted into Gwen Stacy's universe on her motorcycle in Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse.
Despite holding the assistant role next to Miguel O'Hara aka Spider-Man 2099, fans cheered the minute she made her big-screen debut in the animated flick.
I mean, a pregnant superhero who can still fight crime and defeat evil while riding her motorcycle into alternate universes? In Gwen's words, "Will you adopt me?"
Fans aren't amused that the Madame Web movie includes multiple Spider-Women, and yet lacking Jessica on the starring team doesn't compare.
As of writing, Sony has yet to address why they didn't include the likes of Jessica Drew and Gwen Stacy in Madame Web.
As much as it would have been more "spectacular" had Madame Web included the iconic Spider-Women from the comic franchise, there's a possibility that Sony could be preparing something bigger for Jessica in the future.
Meanwhile, Sony's Madame Web is slinging its way out in theaters on February 14.
