The character became the key to solving Loki's mysterious time slipping and figured out the branched timelines' effects on the Temporal Loom that was in meltdown. He is set to have a bigger presence in the rest of the season.

A lot of fans have been looking forward to his appearance in the series, especially in the aftermath of the resurgence of his acting career thanks to his Oscar-winning performance in Everything Everywhere All at Once.

Based on the social media reactions after the airing of the second season premiere of Loki, fans are already loving Quan's role as OB and some even considered him to be one of their favorite characters in the MCU based on the episode alone.

It is in alignment with the early social media reactions from the critics and journalists who were all also praising Quan's performance and called him a great addition to the season.

It is pretty clear that Quan already made a strong impression to the fans even in just the season two premiere alone and there's no doubt that he will become more beloved as the season goes by and he does more action.

What makes this more impressive is that it is not common for a second season of a TV series to have new characters that the audience will immediately love and yet Quan was able to do it with OB with just the premiere episode.

It's interesting to see now what's next for the character in the rest of the season and how helpful he will be to Loki and Mobius' adventures.
