There have been rumors for the past several months that Deadpool 3 will feature the Time Variance Authority (TVA) from Loki and potentially bring back some of the characters from the series such as Owen Wilson's Mobius and Miss Minutes.

So far, Marvel Studios has not commented on the rumor, but a lot of insiders are adamant that the organization will be prominently featured in the film and that it is integral to its story.

Considering that the upcoming threequel will explore the multiverse, it wouldn't be surprising if the TVA has a significant part in the story and perhaps became the reason why the Ryan Reynolds hero is being brought into the MCU.

Now, one of the key figures involved in the series has finally opened up about the rumor and it looks like there might be some truth to it after all.

In an interview with ComicBook.com, Loki executive producer Kevin Wright was asked whether the series will have connections to Deadpool 3 specifically or in the larger canvass of the MCU.

While he didn't definitely say that the series will connect to the upcoming film, he did tease that the TVA will play a larger role in other MCU projects outside Loki.

"I think everything we are doing here certainly lays the groundwork for fertile storytelling elsewhere. I can say from everyone on the Loki team, we are hopeful and excited about the possibility of the TVA being able to--- to continue to tell stories at the TVA," he said.

"I always kind of think of them as our time-based multiverse version of SHIELD that it's like we can use them in so many places and tell so many cool stories."

Based on what Wright said in his comments, it wouldn't be surprising at this point if the TVA appears in Deadpool 3 and other multiverse-related projects since he called the organization the "multiverse version of SHIELD."

The series has established the TVA as the organization responsible for looking over the multiverse and they will definitely have to make some moves over Deadpool's multiversal adventure, especially since it might be in violation of "crimes against the Sacred Timeline."

We might be able to hear the confirmation regarding the TVA's potential involvement in the film once we see the first trailer or any other promotional material.

The second season of Loki is slated to premiere on Disney+ tonight. Deadpool 3 is scheduled for release in theaters on May 3, 2024.
