As The Mandalorian Season 3 continues to hold surprises for Star Wars fans, this might come off as another shocking news to you: Lizzo and Jack Black unexpectedly made their cameos in the series! Specifically in The Mandalorian Season 3, Episode 6 where Lizzo played Plazir-15 leader, The Dutchess, alongside Black as the Captain Bombardier.
“Y’all, I just realized that I’m royalty in Star Wars, which is Disney, which makes me a Disney princess,” Lizzo wrote as the caption of her TikTok video.
The 34-year-old singer even shared a personal and heartfelt message on an Instagram post, detailing how much she’s dreamt of becoming a part of the franchise since she was little. Check out her message below:
“When I was a young girl, my dad introduced me to Star Wars like a rite of passage,” she said, “The trilogies are his favorite movies and quickly became mine. When [The Mandalorian creator] Jon Favreau called me and offered the role of The Dutchess, I cried all day wishing my dad was still with us cus he’d be so proud.”
“Star Wars was a dream I never thought was possible — but thanks to Jon, Bryce [Dallas Howard], and everyone in the galaxy, I am now part of the ever-expanding saga of the stars. I am in honorable company and forever grateful. This is The Way… and May the Force be with you.”

Amid Lizzo’s celebration of her dream debut in Star Wars, The Mandalorian fans remain divided on what Season 3 has turned out to be.
Considering that Din Djarin is no longer the central character of the series, and with rumors circulating on Pedro Pascal potentially exiting from his titular role, fans are being kept in the dark on where it is heading.
For now though, Katee Sackhoff (who portrays Bo-Katan Kryze) has already declared she is more than ready to lead the Mandalorians from here on out.
