While fans are still eagerly awaiting more info on the upcoming second season and movie, Spy x Family fans in Japan are in for a treat as the new exhibition is now open, and it features a life-size replica of the Forger family apartment.

Anime exhibitions aren’t new, but Spy x Family is kicking things up a notch as this new exhibit in Japan features real-life recreations of the series’ iconic locations that make for the perfect photo spots.

Spy x Family Exhibition Recreates Forger Apartment, Eden Academy, and More

No doubt the highlight of the Spy x Family Exhibition is the replica of the Forger apartment, which features a living room complete with accurate furniture and other details. There’s even a life-sized Penguin plush there.

If that’s not enough to delight fans, the exhibition also features another area that comes with the actual designer chairs featured on the manga volume covers.

While not all the chairs are there, the ones in the first four volumes are at the venue. These include the LC2 chair (which is also found in the apartment), the Marshmallow Sofa, the La Chaise, and the Ball Chair.

That’s not all there is to the exhibition though, as a recreation of the Eden Academy classroom is also there.

Plus, visitors will be treated to exclusive artworks, illustrations, and even real-life versions of Loid, Yor, and Anya’s outfits.

As with most other anime exhibits, there are also new merch available that are specially designed for this event, including various accessories, illustrations, and collectibles.

This special exhibition was announced a few months ago, and finally, it opened today in Tokyo.

But before it opened its doors, several members of the Japanese press were given the opportunity to take a look inside.

Finally, fans can see the exhibit for themselves at the Matsuya Ginza in Tokyo. Though fans will need to visit as soon as they can as the exhibition is only open for a few weeks.

The Spy x Family Exhibition is open from July 20 to August 13, 2023. Tickets are priced at JPY 1,600 (around USD 11.5), and they’re available via Lawson Ticket.

Given how popular the series is, tickets are in high demand. Coupled with the limited number of tickets being sold, fans will need to act fast if they want to visit in the next three weeks.

Meanwhile, Spy x Family Season 2 will premiere in Fall 2023, with the movie following a few months after.
