MCU fans are yet to move on from the masterful superhero flick that is Black Panther: Wakanda Forever because, regardless of Marvel's Phase 4 being such a letdown, this sequel became memorable because of the solid performances and the moving tribute to one of its stars, Chadwick Boseman. Despite the fact that it was just recently released, fans are already asking when Black Panther 3 is coming out.
Just when the audience thought that Black Panther 3 is unlikely to happen, Letitia Wright shared an exciting update about the third installment during the red carpet for the Golden Globes Awards.
“I think it's already in the works. You know we just had a terrific two years of bringing it out, and just everybody just coming together to support it. We need a little bit of a break. We need to regroup and Ryan [Coogler] needs to get back into the lab. so it's going to take awhile, but [I'm] really excited for you guys to see that.” said Wright.

However, when asked if it’s a sure deal, the actress gave a subtle response, “I mean I always try to do positive words and positive thinking, and I believe that good words manifest. So I'm manifesting a 'Black Panther 3'—why not?”
After taking up the mantle from her late, great-great brother T'Challa (Boseman), Wright’s Shuri becomes the new Black Panther. The transition was introduced in the sequel. Now that she has a bigger role to play, Shuri is expected to make other appearances in future team-up movies from the Multiverse Saga.
Despite no confirmation yet from the studios, Black Panther 3 is expected, although fans might have to wait a little while given that there's no room for the project yet, especially with the other MCU projects that are slated for release to follow the timeline.

Additionally, rumor has it that Disney+ is developing a spin-off series focused on one of the characters in Black Panther, Okoye, although the studios have yet to comment on and confirm this information as well.
Black Panther director Ryan Coogler talked to the New York Times in December about where he stands on making more Wakanda-focused movies, “I’ll do it as long as folks will have me. But I think it’s bigger than just me or Joe. Between the first and second movie, we made $2 billion at the box office, which is what matters the most to corporations. So I hope that it continues, man. I hope people are still making movies about Wakanda long after we’re gone.” he said.
Black Panther: Wakanda Forever premieres on Disney+ on February 1, 2023.
