2024 is already a big year for KonoSuba fans as the third season is finally coming out soon. Aside from the anime, fans can also look forward to the KonoSuba – Love For These Clothes of Desire! game as its western release date has finally been confirmed.
Previously, this game has been released only in Japan. Soon though, fans around the world can finally play this visual novel-style game.
Its story may not be a requirement to enjoy the next anime season, but it promises to deliver a fun experience, especially for fans who want a new adventure filled with hilarity and a dose of fanservice.
KonoSuba’s Newest Game Features Lots of Fanservice
KonoSuba is an isekai anime that continues to be one of the most popular today thanks to its hilarious twist on the genre.
The series began as a light novel series, and it got an anime adaptation in 2016. Since then, it has received several anime projects like the Megumin Explosion series, as well as a bunch of video game spinoffs.
These games range from mobile gacha titles to full-fledged RPGs. Then there’s KonoSuba - Love For These Clothes of Desire!, a visual novel adventure game released in Japan back in September 2020.
In this game, Kazuma and his party come across a “Black Slab” that curses them with desires that are in contrast to their personalities.
For instance, Darkness becomes a sadist while Aqua becomes useful for once. To break these curses, the party must gather ingredients to create outfits to match their newfound desires.
Essentially, this game is a visual novel adventure dress-up game. Based on the trailer, there will be a lot of fanservice-y (but not full-blown ecchi) outfits here, complete with unique scenarios.

KonoSuba - Love For These Clothes of Desire! Gets Official Release Date in the West
A few months ago, the game was confirmed to get a Western release. At the time though, no release date has been revealed.
Finally, publisher PQube announced that the KonoSuba - Love For These Clothes of Desire! game will be released in the West on February 8, 2024.
The game is confirmed to be released on PS4, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam. It should also be playable on the PS5 as the console supports PS4 titles.
As for the upcoming anime, KonoSuba Season 3 will premiere in April 2024, though there’s no specific release date for it yet.
