More Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 Troubled Production Reports Surface
For years, MAPPA has faced accusations of overworking staff members in various productions such as Alice to Therese no Maboroshi Kojo and Chainsaw Man.

While many continue to praise the individual staff members for their impressive work, fans are hoping they get the proper break they deserve.
Some have also specifically blamed MAPPA’s president for the Jujutsu Kaisen woes as he justified the studio’s heavy production schedule in a recent interview.

Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 Might Be in Danger of Going on Hiatus

If the reports about higher-ups preventing staff members from taking a break are true, there’s a chance that the production will stall, leading to a hiatus.
Based on the recent posts on X, there are rumblings about staff members “calling it quits.” For now, though, there are no official reports yet on a hiatus.
If a hiatus does happen, chances are that many anime fans won’t complain about it given that lots of viewers already seem to be on the staff’s side.
In the meantime, Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2’s next episode is still scheduled to be released this week.
