Things are about to heat up this summer with Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 finally beginning. And to mark the upcoming premiere, a new Jujutsu Kaisen summer-themed merch line was unveiled, featuring illustrations of Gojo and Geto in beachwear.

This new collab is made with Okinawa island in Japan, and it features a wide array of merch, all featuring illustrations of Satoru Gojo and Suguru Geto in beach-ready outfits.

A collab with Okinawa is unexpected, though it makes sense given the events of the second season’s first arc.

It’s fair to call Jujutsu Kaisen one of today’s most popular shonen titles. After all, new chapters of the manga consistently become trending topics on Twitter.

What’s sure to trend is the long-awaited second season. After all, the series became hugely popular thanks to the anime adaptation by MAPPA, which began with Season 1 in late 2020.

In this new season, the Hidden Inventory arc will be the first to get adapted, and it’s an exciting one as it features a pivotal event from Gojo’s past.

Aside from featuring the young Gojo and Geto, this new arc will also introduce Toji Fushiguro, a fan favorite among many manga readers thanks to his impressive combat skills (and good looks if you ask some fans).

What’s also interesting is that the arc will see Gojo and Geto travel to Okinawa at some point. Thus the new merch collab with the Japanese island.

As with most merch collabs, this latest line of goodies features an exclusive illustration, and it depicts Gojo and Geto in beach outfits that are sure to delight fans.

This new collection features a range of goodies, including can badges, acrylic key chains, acrylic stands, and tapestries.

The collab is made in part to promote Okinawan tourism, so these items will be available at Yuinichi Plaza in Naha Airport in Okinawa.

Anime tourism collaborations are nothing new, as similar campaigns have also been done recently with shows like Insomniacs After School and Skip and Loafer.

The Jujutsu Kaisen Okinawa merch will be available from July 28 to August 7, 2023.

Right now, there’s no word on whether the items will be released outside Okinawa.

Meanwhile, Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 will premiere this July.
