Jujutsu Kaisen Continues to Snub Maki as Hajime Kashimo Gets Volume 21 Cover

The Jujutsu Kaisen Volume 21 cover has just been revealed and it puts the focus on Hajime Kashimo. Although fans are loving the idea of Kashimo finally getting the spotlight for the manga's latest release, most are also wondering about another major character. People have long been asking for Maki Zenin to get her own cover and not surprisingly, they have strong reactions to the character being snubbbed yet again.

The official Jujutsu Kaisen Twitter account shared the cover for Volume 21 and it features Hajime Kashimo with his nyoi staff and a bit of lightning around his head. It's another awesome cover that fits perfectly with its predecessors, depicting a strong character getting ready for a fight.

Not surprisingly, people are loving the Jujutsu Kaisen Volume 21 cover. On the other hand, fans have also resumed their demand for Maki Zenin to get her own cover.

So did Gege Akutami snub Maki yet again by giving the cover to another character? It's fairly easy to understand why Jujutsu Kaisen Volume 21 has chosen Kashimo for the cover. The new volume will consist of most of the Tokyo No.2 Colony chapters, which do not feature Maki. With that in mind, Kashimo would be the right choice for this particular volume.

Although fans are concerned about Maki being snubbed, there is also hope that she will finally get her shine to shine in the next volume. Jujutsu Kaisen Volume 22 is expected to have chapters where Maki returns so there is a good chance she will finally get the cover she deserves.

For now, Jujutsu Kaisen Volume 21 has not yet been given an official title. Likewise, the chapters that will appear in the volume have not yet been revealed. Nevertheless, the new volume is already scheduled for release on December 2, 2022.
