The Shibuya Incident arc has finally begun, and to mark this major story event in the anime, Jujutsu Kaisen teamed up with the Tokyu Group for a collab featuring a special hotel theme and more.

While Tokyu may be known by many for its Tokyu Hotels chain, the group also has a lot of other business units. Because of this, the Jujutsu Kaisen collab has a lot in store for Japanese fans.

Aside from the hotel collab, there will also be a special Shibuya pop-up store and a stamp rally in selected train stations in Tokyo and Kanagawa.

Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 finally returned last week with the first episode of the Shibuya Incident arc. Along with the latest arc comes new opening and ending themes.

The show’s return was highly anticipated especially as this next arc is arguably the biggest one in the manga given the various major fights and the world-shattering developments in the aftermath.

Thus, it makes sense that Jujutsu Kaisen is hyping up its recent return with a new Tokyu Group collab.

To start, the collab features a special visual featuring the main trio along with Gojo and Nanami in Shibuya Crossing.

One of the event’s highlights is the pop-up store at PickUp Rankin Shibuya Chikamichi in October and SHIBUYA109 in November. The stores will feature exclusive Shibuya Incident merch.

There will also be a stamp rally where fans can get an exclusive phone wallpaper by visiting the following train stations and getting digital stamps:

  • Shibuya Station in Tokyo
  • Yutenji Station in Tokyo
  • Musashi-Kosugi Station in Kanagawa
  • Hiyoshi Station in Kanagawa
  • Shin-Yokohama Station in Kanagawa

Last but not least, there’s an upcoming Jujutsu Kaisen x Tokyu Hotels collab which will feature a concept room with Jujutsu Kaisen decorations that will be available to book.

There will also be special collab goods that can only be purchased by hotel guests. Finally, the collab will have a special themed café and restaurant menu at the participating Tokyu Hotels venues.

This collab is reminiscent of the recent Chainsaw Man crossover which was also made with Tokyu Hotels. That crossover also came with a special themed room and exclusive goodies.

The Jujutsu Kaisen x Tokyu Hotels collab will be available from October 5, 2023, until January 2024.

Meanwhile, Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 will continue later this week with Episode 7.
