What Will Jellyfish Can't Swim in the Night Be About?

Jellyfish Can't Swim in the Night is also known as Yoru no Kurage wa Oyogenai in the original Japanese.

Not very much is known about its plot, but it seems like a sweet slice-of-life anime about self-exploration and finding one's place in the world.

The main character is a girl wandering in Shibuya at night. As she considers the city to be overflowing with identity, she explores it in search of her own.

However, the girl does not feel able to become anyone, until a chance encounter changes her life.

The official website for Jellyfish Can't Swim in the Night features posters with four different girls at the forefront.

This leads us to think that the anime will likely be a female-driven ensemble cast story akin to Bocchi the Rock! and Wonder Egg Priority.

As more information comes out about the forthcoming project, we'll keep updating this space with more news and predictions.
