Hiroto Shinohara: The Newest Seven-Star Holder
Hiroto Shinohara is the main male protagonist of Liar Liar. He was an ordinary transfer student until he defeated Sarasa Saionji in a turn-based staring contest after getting involved with her on the first day of school.
After winning the match in a very absurd way, Hiroto rose to the top as the newest Seven-Star holder of Academy Island, which caused a major upset in the student body and the school administration.
Hiroto was born on April 13, which means he is an Aries. His age is unknown, but we can assume that he is 16–18 years old, based on the usual age of Japanese high school students.
He is affiliated with Eimei Private Academy and has been known as The Strongest Ace in all of Academy Island.
In reality, Hiroto only wants to find his missing childhood friend on Academy Island.

Sarasa Saionji: The Empress of Academy Island
Sarasa Saionji is the former top student of Academy Island, with the title of "Empress". Everyone adored her, including Kugisaki Seiran, the five-star student who challenged Hiroto in a card game.
But unbeknownst to everyone except Hiroto, Sarasa hides a huge secret that endangers her future on the island. She is not the real Sarasa Saionji, and her real name is Rina Akabane.
The real Sarasa escaped from the island a year ago, and she is currently staying on the mainland to pursue her simple dreams!
Sarasa/Rina was born on July 3, making her a Cancer woman. She has red hair and a pair of red eyes, which complement her strong and fiery personality whenever she’s being confronted or playing a serious game. She is affiliated with Sakura Academy.
