James Gunn's The Suicide Squad has wrapped filming back in March, with the director and the team working remotely on the movie, seemingly on track for its August 2021 release date. Plot details about the upcoming feature are quite scarce, but Captain Boomerang actor Jai Courtney has recently teased what's to come in the film, including an intriguing water tank scene.

"I think it's kind of got a different flavor," Courtney told Variety. "There's a whole bunch of new characters."

The actor pointed out that Gunn uses an approach to the film that is "uniquely his," pulling a lot of that into the Suicide Squad world. Courtney thinks it fits "really well" with the movie and teases that the audience is going to have a "lot of fun with it."

When asked about the "most fun day" he had on set, Courtney was tight-lipped about it. However, he did tease a "particular sequence" where he and other people got "very wet," and that "hilarity ensued."

He detailed that they spent "hours upon hours" in a water tank. And while there's no telling what this scene entails, it could be a sequence involving King Shark, a DC character rumored to be featured in the film.

Not much is known about the movie yet, hopefully, the upcoming DC FanDome event could provide the fans some news and some details of what to expect in The Suicide Squad. If anything, Courtney teasing a "different flavor" suggests there'll be some epic and crazy scenes in the film.

The Suicide Squad is set for release on August 6, 2021.
