ITZY's Ryujin Becomes The Promise's Honors Club 1st Member

South Korean-based relief organization The Promise announced that Ryujin officially became the first member of its Honors Club. The recognition is dedicated to those donors who made major and significant amounts of donations to aid its causes.

Honors Club membership requires an individual to have either a cumulative donation of more than 100 million KRW (around $76,542) or have committed to The Promise's mission and values while helping others.

Ryujin has already made two donations to the organization. She gave two 50 million KRW for the emergency relief efforts in the wildfire incident in South Korea in 2022 and the victims of earthquakes in Syria and Turkey this year. Her two donations helped her reach the threshold to become a member of the Honors Club.

"I feel incredibly fortunate to be able to help those who are suffering from disasters, even if it's in a small way," Ryujin said after receiving the honor.

Ryujin Helps ITZY Members in Other Ways, Too

Ryujin had her first solo pictorial with Vogue in March for the magazine's April issue. After the photo session, she sat down for an interview with the publication, during which she spoke about different things, including how proud she feels about her ITZY co-members.

She revealed that she feels more confident than ever because of the support ITZY members give to her.

"I feel so proud of my members who make me think, 'you can do a performance in this way too' and 'they completely fill up the stage on their own,'" she went on.
