She concluded her statement by expressing her sincere apologies to the public.

According to the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum's website, the swastika is an ancient symbol that was converted into a symbol of hate, infamy, and anti-Semitism. Adolf Hitler adopted it as the primary symbol for the Nazi Party.

TWICE and Chaeyoung's agency, JYP Entertainment, also posted an apology statement on its official website.

Chaeyoung Sparked More Issues

Chaeyoung's latest issue came only days after she continuously found herself in hot waters due to her fashion.

The K-pop idol donned a shirt with a photo of Sex Pistols' Sid Vicious wearing a swastika shirt on Monday. The same post was also deleted but still sparked outrage locally and internationally.

Chaeyoung also wore a crop top during a performance with TWICE. The outfit had the letter Q with patterns from the US flag and the words "we go all" below it. According to fans, it represented the conspiracy theory movement, QAnon.

At that time, the idol and JYP Entertainment did not issue a statement.
