In the brand-new Pokemon Horizons TV series, Amethio is an administrative member of the Explorers, a mysterious antagonistic organization.
He first approaches the main character Liko by telling her that he's an associate of her grandmother's.
His polite and cool demeanor is soon revealed to be part of his manipulation tactics, but fans still love his sense of style, with half-grey, half-white hair and serious, professional attire.

As of writing, no official information is available about Amethio's age. However, fans are interested in knowing more about him and their speculations widely vary.
What we do know is that Amethio is relatively young, though older than Liko.
In Pokemon, it is not uncommon for characters as young as 10 years old to get their first Pokemon and embark on their training journey, so we wouldn't be surprised if Amethio was just a teenager.
