The latest addition to the Marvel Cinematic Universe bunch arrives in her very own show, Ms. Marvel, with Kamala Khan entering the franchise with her dashing personality and there is one hero she looks up to, Captain Marvel. How is she different from her idol and who is stronger between the two of them?

How Is Ms. Marvel Different From Captain Marvel? Who Is Stronger?
Ms. Marvel just debuted in the MCU and she is already making waves as the first-ever Muslim Pakistani superhero in the franchise. Kamala Khan starts as a usual teenager who loves heroes, especially Captain Marvel, and she finally has the chance to be part of the Earth’s mightiest as she gets her powers in the very first episode of the show.
While her powers changed in the series as compared to the comics, Ms. Marvel’s powers came from bands that may have been passed down through generations in their family, originating from the Kree Empire.
When worn, it gives her a surge of energy flowing through her body and when triggered by lights, she shoots blasts and creates anything imaginable like a huge hand saving Zoe.

Captain Marvel’s powers are also from the Kree Empire, well, sort of, as she got training with them as a fighter. Her exposure to a blast gave her unimaginable powers and strength incomparable to others making her a formidable ally when it comes to battles. Just by their skillset, they are different from each other.
What separates Ms. Marvel from Captain Marvel is how they both work when it comes to a team. Ms. Marvel is more of a team player who would be ready to support any other hero she comes across. It’s in Kamala’s nature and personality to do so.
As for Captain Marvel, she is more of a soloist. After decades of being a superhero of different worlds, she’s used to working alone rather than being in a team.

As to who is stronger, it’s Captain Marvel. Years of experience would give her the edge of being the stronger hero. She’s even a contender for being the strongest hero in the MCU alongside Wanda Maximoff. Also, Captain Marvel’s powers are within her while Ms. Marvel’s are from a band that can be removed.
