Henry Cavill recently poked fun at his cameo appearance as Superman in the post-credits scene of Black Adam.
The actor famously returned as the Man of Steel in the Dwayne Johnson-led DCEU film. His appearance sets up the rivalry between the two heroes in a future installment.
However, Cavill's DCEU return was short-lived as the DC franchise was eventually rebooted into the new DCU and he was let go from the role as they opted to recast with a new actor.

Henry Cavill Pokes Fun at His Black Adam Post-Credits Scene Cameo
According to a report, Cavill made a subtle joke about his Superman cameo in the post-credits scene of Black Adam while making the introductory remarks at a screening of his new film.
He joked about how he does not have luck when it comes to a post-credits scene. It was met with laughter from the audience.
"Turns out, I don't have much luck with post-credit scenes. So, I may give up on those," he said.
During the film's release in 2022, a lot of fans were hyped about Cavill's cameo appearance since it signified that he was back in the role after years of absence.
There were plans to do a Man of Steel sequel and a DCEU project where Black Adam and Superman are facing off, which is what the post-credits scene was supposedly teasing.
Unfortunately, two months after the film's release, it was announced that Cavill is no longer continuing to play Superman and it was eventually recast with David Corenswet, who is now filming the new James Gunn-directed Superman movie that will lead the DCU franchise.
Since then, Cavill has moved on to different projects including the upcoming Guy Ritchie film The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare.
