Gran Turismo Cast: Who are the Actors Included in the Movie?
A star-studded cast banners Gran Turismo movie which is inspired by the story of a gamer who plays the titular game and aspires to become a real racer!
Archie Madekwe will be playing the role of Jann Mardenborough who is a teenage player of Gran Turismo and he became inspired by the game that he aspires to become a teenage race car driver.
His trainer to be a race car driver is Jack Salter who will be played by the veteran actor David Harbour.
Inspired by the GT Academy founder Darren Cox is the character to be played by Orlando Bloom named Danny Moore, the motorsport marketing executive.
As Jann climbs up the ladder of success, his main antagonist, Matty Davis comes into the picture, feeling threatened. He is played by Darren Barnet.
Another rival of Jannn is Nicholas Capa, another racer, played by Josha Stradowski.
The parents of Jann are Djimon Hounsou as Steve Mardenborough and Geri Halliwell as Lesley Mardenborough. His brother will be played by Daniel Puig.
Other cast members of Gran Turismo include Maeve Courtier-Lilley, Thomas Kretschmann, Emelia Hartford, Pepe Barroso, Richard Cambridge as Felix, and Sang Heon Lee.

Gran Turismo not only boasts a star-studded cast who will be on-screen, they also have brilliant minds behind the scenes!
Neill Blomkamp sits at the directors chair for Gran Turismo with the screenplay written by Jason Hall and Zach Baylin from Polyphony Digital's Gran Turismo.
The producers of Gran Turismo are Doug Belgrad, Asad Qizilbash, Carter Swan, and Dana Brunetti.
The cinematography of Gran Turismo is by Jacques Jourffret with the music by Lorne Balfe.
Columbia Pictures, PlayStation Productions, Trigger Street Productions, and 2.0 Entertainment collaborated to bring Gran Turismo to the big screens with Sony Pictures Releasing to take the film internationally.
The whole team filmed in roughly two months in Hungary with Jourffret's special techniques to bring Gran Turismo to life.

Gran Turismo Plot: What Will The Movie Be About?
The official Gran Turismo synopsis is as follows:
Based on the true story of Jann Mardenborough, the film is the ultimate wish fulfillment tale of a teenage Gran Turismo player whose gaming skills won a series of Nissan competitions to become an actual professional race car driver.
Gran Turismo is a biographical coming-of-age sports drama movie which is inspired by true events.
Gran Turismo will follow Jann Mardenborough as he fulfills his dreams and all the struggles he had to face to get to where he is.
The movie will not only focus on how he becomes a race car driver but it will also dive deep into the story of his relationships to his family and to his special other.
Mardenborough made his way to the Gran Turismo Academy competition where he bested 90,000 contestants and became the third and youngest champion of the contest.
The video game of the same name is the inspiration behind Mardenborough's success and the game will be featured in the movie as well, though it will not be the main narrative of the film.
Where to Watch Gran Turismo?
Gran Turismo will be coming out in theaters, exclusively, on August 11, 2023.
It may not be seen in any streaming platform for a few months after its release on the big screens but it is expected to make a streaming debut by the end of the year following the common practice of movies releasing online for three to four months after their theatrical release.
Is There a Trailer for Gran Turismo?
Early this year, Gran Turismo got a sneak peek as released by Sony which shows that the film is more than just the rush of the race, but also the struggles that comes with it.
An official trailer for Gran Turismo has been released in May 2023 with the classic track of Nas, Hate Me Now, playing on the background.
