Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 made waves recently with the release of its latest episode. This is because Jujutsu Kaisen fans were delighted to finally see Gojo and Toji fight as it was animated incredibly well.
While the first season already had great fight scenes, Season 2 kicked things up a notch as the long-awaited first encounter between Gojo and Toji was pure eye candy.
Aside from this explosive fight, the episode also drew a lot of attention for its shocking ending.

Fans Say MAPPA Is Evil for Episode 3 Ending Scene
Despite Satoru Gojo being soundly beaten by Toji Fushiguro during their fight, it seemed that Suguru Geto will at least succeed in bringing Riko down to Tengen so that she can fulfill her role as the Star Plasma Vessel.
While Riko was concerned about Gojo, Geto reassures her that he’ll be fine. But suddenly, Riko is shot dead by Toji who emerges from the shadows.
Though it’s a shocking scene in the Jujutsu Kaisen manga, fans believed that MAPPA’s decision to play the ending theme while it happened was particularly evil.
As the ending played, some anime-only fans had a false sense of security, making what happened next even more surprising.
After all, Riko’s death by gunshot was a huge shock, especially given how guns aren’t really used much in the series.
While the episode ends here, the series will continue with the fight between Geto and Toji.
Despite how shocking the events are, fans can’t wait to see Geto and his Cursed Spirits in action against the fearsome sorcerer killer.

Gojo and Toji Fight Delights Fans With Excellent Animation
The ending no doubt got a lot of attention because of Riko’s shocking death, but for many fans (especially manga readers), Gojo and Toji’s fight was the biggest part of the episode.
In the manga, this fight continues to be one of the best (according to readers) given how well it shows Toji's power.
And in the anime, MAPPA definitely delivers as the flashy and violent fight is now considered by many viewers to be one of the show’s highlights.
Though Toji claims that Gojo is dead, we all know that this is not the case, thus it’ll be interesting to see how the arc will develop in the anime.
Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 will continue next week with Episode 4.
