Surprise, surprise — yes, Wolverine is expected to survive despite Magneto extracting his Adamantium claws from his body. That's what happened in the original Marvel comics, after all, in X-Men #25.

But it took Logan an excruciatingly long time before he had fully recovered from what Magneto did to him. Marvel fans are highly anticipating the bone claws Wolverine will develop after he recovers.

Wolverine's nemesis, Romulus, acquired the same Adamantium material from his claws and installed it on Cyber.

It had been a battle after Wolverine's claws were ripped out of his body. The only thing that miraculously saved him was his bone claws. Although, that's not to say that the bone claws' durability was better than Adamantium.

Wolverine had still been recovering after the loss of his Adamantium claws. Apart from that, his healing ability was still slowed down.

In the Death of Wolverine comics, Wolverine was attacked by mercenaries and when he went to track down who was behind it, he found his ex-wife Viper, who had Sabretooth on her side as an attack dog.

Wolverine lost his eye, and he couldn't heal himself fast enough, but he eventually managed, thanks to a healing drug, Regenix.

Although the MCU fans would cheer once the Merc with the Mouth crosses paths with Wolverine once more, their fight in Wolverine: Origins makes sense as to why their film requires the R rating.

Deadpool brought out the big guns and even went as far as throwing Wolverine into traffic. This went on for 6 issues. It remains to be seen if we'll be watching the same affair on the big screens in July, though.

Ruins of Ravencroft: Sabretooth showed how Wolverine and Sabretooth first met each other. Logan was taken in as a prisoner by Nathaniel Essex (Mr. Sinister), whom Sabretooth worked for at the time.

While not as brutal as the rest on this list, it promised fans that Logan believes violence is the answer. In this case, he made sure to pop his claws through Sabretooth's chin, all the way to his brain, before his escape.
